I have an original Story in mind that was inspired by Zelda Skyward Sword with a standard Zelda- esk set-up: Chosen hero, princess of a land in danger by an evil being or force.
But the main character is the chosen hero's best friend, who aspiered to be the hero and now has to find his place in the world and support his friend, mostly emotionally.
I could turn this into a Zelda Fanfiction to ease the worldbuiling process and gain an audience, but it could be a terrible idea having Link and the epic adventure as a sidestory we barely get to experience.
What are your thoughts?
